In February, OGD won the Ogun-East Senatorial seat, in Ogun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), and will be seated in the 10th National Assembly.
Clearly, the vacation was needed to rest from the rigours of the election campaign and for introspection ahead of the daunting task of legislation ahead.

“After a gruelling but exciting electioneering, my dear wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel, and I decided to take a much-needed holiday in one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Paris.
“This time out affords me the opportunity to reset and recharge, as we resume the task of moving our dear country Nigeria forward.”
