A National and Patriotic CALL to avoid Violence and Destructive tendencies but a concerted effort by the Citizenry, in Partnership, Collaboration, Consultation and Cooperation with Government for Nation Building and National Development.
Every House that stands Tall and Strong is a product of collective inputs, skills, contributions, expertise and effort of different Builders.
The task of Nation Building is a collective responsibility of every Citizen. The Nigeria of our dream is ours to build but not ours to destroy.
As a Patriotic Nigeria and Major Stakeholder in Nigeria Project, with Local, National and International engagements with diverse Nigerians of different Backgrounds, Faith, Beliefs, Orientation and Social Classes over the years, I will like to humbly and sincerely appeal to my brothers and sisters across the country to shun any form of violence and destruction, and remain calmed and peaceful during the ongoing protest.
Dialogue and Constructive
Engagement should be embraced at ensuring peaceful communication of their demands to the Government at all levels.
While it is important for Government to address the demands of the Protesters, Government at all levels should also create platforms for peaceful engagements and dialogue with the Protesters at restoring normalcy and Sustainable Peace.
For the benefit of doubt, I will like to use this opportunity to call on Nigerians to be patient with Mr President for implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the betterment of the Country, considering the effort of his administration in the last one years which include but not limited to the following:
1. Establishment of the Nigerian Education Loans Fund for students.
2. Establishment of the Nigerian Cosumer Credit Corporation for generality of the Citizenry.
3. Establishment of the North West Development Commission.
4 Establishment of the South East Development Commission.
5. Creation of Ministry of Livestock Development to tackle and peacefully resolve Herder-Farmer Conflicts and improve Farm Productivity in Nigeria.
6. Badagry-Sokoto Express Way passing through several States.
7. Lagos – Calaba Costal High Way passing through several States.
8. Massive Infrasructural Development in FCT with commissioning of several roads.
9. Commissioning and Commencement of Train Services within Abuja City.
10. Local Government Autonomy at ensuring Grassroots Development across the Country.
11. New Minimum Wages signed into Law for immediate implementation.
12. Presidential directive to NNPCL to sell crude oil to Dangote Refinery and all other Local Refineries in Naira, and in return, for products to be sold locally by Local Refineries in Naira.
13. Establishment of National Youth Empowerment Fund.
14. Establishment National Talent Export Programme.
Essentially, it takes time for seeds planted to yield and be ready for harvest. With the concreted effort of the Citizenry, I strongly believe that over time, things will surely get better in the Country by the Special Grace of God.
