Police show solidarity by giving out water to protesters in Lagos

Showing their gesture and concern for the protesters, police officers handed out water to protesters on Tuesday.

In  a video record shared by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on X.com, showed police officers distributing packs of plastic water to the demonstrators.

The protesters had gathered at the Ikeja Underbridge in Lagos State as the country marks the 2024 Independence Day to protest the hardship faced by Nigerians occasioned by government policies and programs.
