UN Commission awards NIESV president in New York

The President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Mr Victor Alonge, has been recognised on the global stage for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. He was presented with the “Outstanding Humanitarian Award” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The prestigious award was conferred by the United Nations Commission for the Status of Women (UNCSW) in recognition of his “dedication, consistent, and impactful support for African women’s status advancement initiatives.”
The honour highlights Alonge’s “leadership and advocacy” in fostering gender equality and empowering women across Africa. His efforts have significantly contributed to initiatives that promote inclusivity, professional development, and economic opportunities for African women.
In accordance to a statement issued by NIESV’s National Publicity Secretary, Richard Olodu, said the institute celebrates this well-deserved recognition and remains committed to supporting impactful leadership that drives positive change globally.
