Nigeria’s telecommunications and digital services company, Globacom, has launched a new data initiative aimed at heavy internet users, introducing enhanced bundles under its “More Data More Value” offer.
The company said the new packages are designed to deliver higher data volumes and improved value for subscribers as demand for streaming, social media engagement, remote work, and online business activities continues to rise across the country.
In a statement released on Monday, Globacom said the initiative reflects its commitment to ensuring that customers get more value for every naira spent on data services, while strengthening its position in Nigeria’s increasingly data-driven telecom market.
The “More Data More Value” offer comes with weekly and monthly plans that combine daytime and night-time data allocations to support round-the-clock usage patterns.
Under the weekly plans, subscribers can access a N1,000 bundle offering a total of 3.7GB, comprising 1.7GB main data and 2GB night data. The N2,000 weekly option provides 9GB in total, split into 6.5GB main data and 2.5GB night data.
For monthly subscribers, the N1,500 plan offers 5.2GB (2.2GB main data and 3GB night data), while the N2,000 plan provides 6.25GB, made up of 3.25GB main data and 3GB night data. A higher N5,000 bundle delivers 16.5GB in total, including 14.5GB main data and 2GB night data.
Premium users also have access to larger plans, with the N10,000 bundle offering 42GB (38GB main data and 4GB night data), while the N15,000 plan provides 64GB in total, comprising 62GB main data and 2GB night data.
Globacom said the structure of the bundles is designed to accommodate different categories of users, including students, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and entertainment consumers who rely heavily on mobile data for daily activities such as streaming videos, social media engagement, online meetings, and gaming.
The company also said the offer is expected to support small businesses and households that increasingly depend on mobile hotspots for connectivity, especially in areas where fixed broadband is limited.
It added that customers can conveniently subscribe and manage their data plans through the Glo Café app, which provides a simplified interface for monitoring usage and activating bundles.
Globacom said the “More Data More Value” initiative underscores its continued focus on affordability, improved user experience, and expanding access to digital services in Nigeria’s evolving telecom landscape.
