Femi Adebayo celebrates dad, Oga Bello, at 72

Veteran Nollywood actor, Adebayo Salami, popularly called Oga Bello, has received lots of good wishes from family, friends, and fans as he clocked 72 on Thursday.

In a post on his Instagram page on Thursday, the actor posted a picture of himself, expressing gratitude to God.

He wrote, “As I celebrate my birthday today, I pray Allah continues to bless me with sound health, more peace of mind, and more wisdom.

“Happy birthday to me. #HappyBirthdayOgaBello”

In a separate post on Instagram, his son, Femi Adebayo, a fellow Nollywood actor, appreciated Oga Bello for his understanding and love, describing him as “one of the major gifts” God gave him.

Adebayo wrote, “Happy birthday to my amazing, understanding, loving, caring father. One of the major gifts God has given me is YOU. Daddy, I cherish you a lot. My father, my friend!”

He also thanked his father for his “never-ending” guidance as he showered him with good wishes.

He added, “I wish the whole world knew how awesome you are as a father. Daddy, thank you for bringing to this world, thank you for showing me the way, thank you for your never-ending guidance. I love you. Enjoy your day, paddy mi.”

Oga Bello’s birthday was also celebrated by a host of other Nollywood personalities, including actors Kunle Afod, Iyabo Ojo, Bolanle Ninalowo, and Dayo Amusa.
