Governor Ademola Adeleke has made public a free concert in Osogbo featuring top Nigerian entertainers, including his son B-Red, as political activities intensify ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
The governor made the announcement via his official X account on Wednesday, describing the event as an inclusive music gathering for residents across the state.
He said the concert would feature established and emerging acts from Osun and beyond, adding that it is designed to unite residents through entertainment.
A flyer shared by the governor listed performers such as Peruzzi, CDQ, Fido, Shina Peters, May D, Sinarambo, Peller, and Kolu Wahala, among others.
Adeleke described the event as a “Get Out to Vote Concert,” stressing that it is non-partisan and open to supporters of all political parties in the state.
He noted that the concert is aimed at promoting unity and encouraging civic participation without political division.
The event is scheduled to hold at the Technical Field in Osogbo on Friday, April 24, with free entry for all residents.
The announcement comes shortly after the appointment of Davido as Head of Youth Mobilisation for the governor’s re-election campaign.
Political engagement has continued to build momentum across Osun State as parties position themselves ahead of the August 8, 2026 governorship election.
