Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken to social media to express her joy and pride as her son, Rondy Peters Chukwuemeka, officially joins the legal profession.
In an Instagram post, Rita shared videos of Rondy, fondly referred to as her “last fruit,” participating in the call-to-bar ceremony alongside his colleagues.
She praised her son, now officially addressed as Barrister Prophet Rondy Peters Chukwuemeka Edochie, for his intellect and achievements, calling him a “distinguished” and “outstanding” barrister.
The actress declared 2024 a blessed year for her family, highlighting how the monumental event has brought immense joy to her. Showering her son with prayers, she promised to keep her fans updated with more moments from the ceremony.
Sharing her excitement, Rita wrote: “HE HAS BEEN CROWNED WITH THE AUTHORIZED WIG OF LICENCE. YOU CAN NOW ADDRESS HIM AS BARRISTER PROPHET RONDY PETERS CHUKWUEMEKA EDOCHIE. STOP PLAYING ABEG. MORE UPDATES FROM THE CALLING TO THE BAR CEREMONY OF MY GREAT SON.”
She further reflected on the significance of the day, expressing gratitude to God for what she described as a “marvelous work” in her family.
