Apostle Suleman gives 85-Year-Old Brand New Toyota Camry
• Says the church will be unstoppable in reaching out to the less privileged.
Apostle Suleman is one religious leader in Nigeria that never shies away from helping the needy. Over the years, the respected man of God from Edo State has continuously gone out of his way to put smile on the faces of the poor through charitable initiatives.
He has proven this stance again during the 2025 Easter special programme at his church headquarter by surprising a 85-year-old man with a gift of a brand new Toyota Camry worth over 8 million naira.
During an official presentation of the stunning automobile to the grateful elderly man, who was accompanied by his wife and relatives, Apostle Johnson said blessing fellow Nigerians, especially members of the OFM ministry, is his own way of appreciating them for their dedicated service to the church.
He believes such kind gestures are a way for him to recognise God’s blessings in his own life while also encouraging a fellow Christian spiritually. He buttressed his point by saying blessing members who have consistently served God all their lives is definitely a manifestation of God’s grace he would never take lightly.
“Blessing people demonstrating appreciation for a dedicated service, recognizing God’s blessings, and as a form of spiritual encouragement. Blessing our members is a manifestation of God’s grace and a way to bless those who have served and still serving God faithfully, and to support their day-to-day affairs,” he said.
Apostle Suleman’s “Touch of Love” charitable outreach focuses on offering assistance to poor Nigerians who lack the basic things of life, and the clergyman believes assisting the needy and caring for the sick is the pathway to fulfilment, joy and positive transformation as Christians.
According to him, his church will not stop extending its hand to the less privileged, because even if money should not be the main focus of any human being, every follower of Christ will always be blessed, even in ways he or she does not expect. The well-respected televangelist maintained that only through giving can the church show it understands the plight of the common man.
“We won’t change our focus, we shall continue to restore lives through giving, although money is not the focus of our life. It never has been. Everyone who follows God can be blessed, and in many different ways,” he added.
While praying with the family of the latest car owner in town, the senior pastor added that Easter is always a good period to show love to your fellow man, and when God really loves someone, it automatically comes with unexpected blessings that cannot be understood or appreciated enough.
