LAGOS — Nigerian social media influencer and philanthropist, King Mitchy, has revealed that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has donated more than ₦100 million toward her charitable initiatives.
The disclosure was made during a live Twitch session hosted by popular content creator and streamer Carter Efe. King Mitchy, who is widely recognized for her grassroots activism, frequently documents her visits to rural communities and hamlets where she distributes food, cash, and essential supplies to the less privileged.
During the broadcast, Carter Efe questioned the influencer regarding the scale of her operations and the sources of her funding.
“What is the highest amount of money you have collected from someone and were instructed to give out?” Carter Efe asked.
In response, King Mitchy identified Seyi Tinubu as a major benefactor, stating that he has contributed “more than ₦100M so far” to support her ongoing philanthropy work.
The statement drew immediate reactions from the studio crew and sparked significant engagement across social media platforms. King Mitchy’s charitable efforts often go viral due to the emotional nature of her interactions with beneficiaries in underserved areas.
While King Mitchy has been active in the philanthropic space for several years, this revelation marks one of the first times a specific figure has been publicly linked to the high-volume funding behind her street-level distributions.
