“Let me start by giving God all praise & also appreciate *His Excellency president Muhammad BUHARI who accorded June 12 it’s bride of place in the social-political calendar of the federal government of Nigeria.
Before now, the recognition/ celebration of June 12 as a watershed in Nigeria history had been observed majorly by the states of the south west of Nigeria thus, making it’s symbolism and significance a restricted and ethnic referent; but that has changed now, Once again thanks to the APC led government who after 26 years corrected the error committed by the then military when they annul the Presidential election held in Nigeria on June 12, 1993.
President Buhari has not only corrected via declaration of June 12 as a NATIONAL HOLIDAY, he went further to give The acclaimed winner of the election late Chief MKO Abiola a post humous Award of GCFR the highest honour in the land
Let me join the progressive family on behalf of my campaign organization to congratulate the martyrs of democracy in Nigeria: late MKO Abiola, Anthony Enahoro, Gani Fawehinmi, etc. and also our living legends like our national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adams oshiomole
