Bauchi Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Upholds Gov. Bala Mohammed’s Victory
The Bauchi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has ruled in favor of Governor Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), affirming his victory in the March 18th governorship election.
The tribunal’s decision came as it dismissed the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar. The ruling indicated that there were no compelling reasons to nullify the election, as it was conducted in strict compliance with the law.
This pivotal judgment was delivered by a distinguished three-man panel, with Justice P.T Kwahar at the helm. Governor Bala Mohammed’s victory remains intact, solidifying the PDP’s position in Bauchi State.
