    Tajudeen Abbas Elected House Speaker

    Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has been elected the new Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives. The lawmaker scored 353 votes to emerge winner of the election.

     

    Former Deputy Speaker Idris Wase and another contender for speaker of the House, Hon. Sani Jaji, scored three votes each.
