Air Peace Commences Direct Flights from Abuja–London

Air Peace is launching the beginning of direct flights from Abuja to London this October, marking a major expansion for Nigeria’s largest carrier.
At a travel partner forum in Abuja, the airline engaged industry stakeholders, including travel agents and technology providers, to finalize plans for the new route. The discussions focused on ticketing, accessibility, and ensuring competitive pricing for passengers.
Chairman Allen Onyema called the development a breakthrough for northern Nigerian travelers, who will now enjoy easier access to London without routing through Lagos or foreign hubs. He noted that regulatory approvals and diplomatic support have paved the way for a smooth rollout.
The Abuja–London service will begin on October 26, with flights operating into Heathrow first, followed shortly by Gatwick. Air Peace is also offering discounted fares and incentives to strengthen early uptake and reward travel partners.
