Benchmark score for admission to Nigerian universities peg at minimum of 140 – JAMB

Stakeholders in the education sector have agreed that no institution will go below 140 as a minimum benchmark score for admission into universities.
According to Oloyede, JAMB does not set cutoff marks as various institutions had sent their minimum benchmark scores to JAMB.
“JAMB does not set cut-off mark,” Oloyede cautioned.
“What we have is a minimum benchmark score that any university cannot go below. Different universities have their benchmark scores,” he added.
