Let Our Forests Breathe: Africa’s Call for Climate Justice 🌍🌿
Not all diplomats wear suits, some wear purpose – DeeEnvoy
Not all damage is visible. Sometimes the earth is choking long before we see the smoke.
Africa contributes less than 4% of global emissions, yet we suffer some of the worst climate impacts — droughts, floods, deforestation, displacement. This isn’t just a crisis. It’s an injustice.
Climate justice means fairness.
It means respecting our indigenous solutions, funding our frontline communities, and recognizing our right to protect and manage our ecosystems.
🌱 Africa is not just a victim.
🌱 Africa is not a carbon warehouse.
🌱 Africa is a climate leader — and our forests deserve to breathe on our terms.
Let us lead. Not just plead.
Africa Always,
Lady Diana Eyo-Enoette
