As the documents show, there are indeed two separate and parallel road projects underway in the area—one being a state government project on the Prison/Igbeba Road, and the other a project facilitated by Senator Gbenga Daniel on the Eid/Oladehinde Joseph/Luba Road leading to the Ogbogbo Junction.
While the state government project is a laudable initiative, it is important to recognize and give due credit to the efforts of Senator Daniel in securing and facilitating the construction of the Eid/Oladehinde Joseph/Luba Road project for his constituents in Ijebu-Ode.
The documents clearly indicate that this road project, which serves as a vital thoroughfare supporting daily commuting and seasonal festivities in the area, is a direct result of Senator Daniel’s commitment to infrastructure development and improving the living standards of the people he represents.
It is disappointing that the governor’s aide, who appears to be unfamiliar with the local geography and politics of Ogun East, would attempt to downplay Senator Daniel’s contributions and spread misinformation.
