It was one of the best memorable moments of sports and football especially, all over the World, Lionel Messi, one of the best footballers of our time was officially and flamboyantly presented to the globe by his new team Inter Miami, of Florida, USA. He is now becomes the biggest acquisition of the American Major League Soccer, MSL.
The event held on Sunday, attracted turn out of sports fans and millions watch on Television and online, had the unveiling of Miami’s two new other great superstar signings. The wow event was powered by Apple and the MLS.
At event Lionel Messi was finally giving his traditional number ten jersey, which he will now wear for Inter Miami .
The inter Miami stadium was filled to full capacity. Music was blasting very loud. Celebrities graced with occasion in large numbers. Fans were celebrating and screening his name with excitement before his arrival. The pink number ten jersey was massively worn by the cheering fans at the stadium. There were colourful lights which beautifully radiates the whole venue. However, the lights were turned down and the cheering the fans stopped and all attentions was on the center stage, when the unveiling took majestically with Lionel Messi mounting the stage.
Before Messi came up to the stage celebrities like Tom Brady, Steph Curry, Marc Anthony and Alejandro Sanz had already presented their welcoming speeches to honour him for making another football in the United States.
Messi mounted the stage with great joy. Fans went wild with celebration, chants, paparazzi and white flashes from fans adorned the stands at the stadium.
Messi was presented by the Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas. He also raised and unveiled his club’s new Messi number 10 jersey. Messi took the mic and addressed the Miami fan. “First of all I want to thank the people of Miami for all this love and welcome. I am very excited and happy to be here in Miami with you. I want to thank Jorge, David, his family, for the welcome. I really want to start training, competing, I come with the desire that I always had to compete, to win, to help the club continue to grow. I hope that during this time they will accompany us as they have since the season began,” Messi said.
“I have no doubt that we will do our best to meet the objectives. I am very happy to have chosen this city with my family, to have chosen this project and I have no doubt that we are going to enjoy it a lot, we are going to have a great time and very nice things will happen. Thank you all very much for this day,” Messi further said.
Messi as proud family man who goes around with his family, also came to the event with his family, who came to America with him. His wife Antonella and his three children Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, were present at event.
It was a great reunion for Messi and Sergior, who were former team mates at Barcelona. Now they are together again in Miami. Sergio Busquets who was earlier presented to the fans later joined Messi on the stage to celebrate their
with their new club fans. English football legend, David Beckham also joined Messi to celebrate on the stage.
The magnificent event of Messi’s unveiling was rapped up with a star studded concert, organizered by the MLS club. It was a spectacular entertaining concert. It featured Camilo and Osuna. Their melodious renditions and stellar performance was applauded by the fans. It was a historical outing for Miami and Messi, as football fans watch out Messi’s magical football displays in MSL.
