Osimhen might move to Saudi Arabian clubs, considering the middle east offers

PSG is unwilling to pay the €130 million release clause demanded by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who remains firm on not letting Osimhen go for anything less.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly weighing offers from Saudi Arabian clubs after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expressed reluctance to meet his release clause fee set by Napoli.

With the proposed move to PSG in doubt, Osimhen is now considering a potential switch to Saudi Arabia. PSG’s inability to offload either Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani to accommodate Osimhen has further complicated the situation.

This uncertainty has also sparked renewed interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United in the Super Eagles star.

Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal are poised to make another move for Osimhen, who remains keen to leave Serie A this summer. Despite his preference to stay in Europe and previous rejections of offers from Saudi clubs, the current impasse with European clubs might push Osimhen towards the Middle East.

According to Tutto Napoli, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal are set to submit new bids to sign the 25-year-old striker.

“Osimhen? I don’t know if this story will be resolved soon, Napoli certainly won’t be able to get the money for the clause because the price is set by the buyer,” said Marolda, as per Tutto Napoli. “If the player wants to go to PSG, we’ll have to wait a little longer, unless the player accepts Saudi Arabia. The clubs are hostages of the buyer and the players.”

If sealed, the deal could see Osimhen become Africa’s highest-paid footballer.
