Shagamu High School, Old Students Association 1999 Alumni Reach out To The School For Payback

The old students association of set 1999 visited their old school to reflect and to express their appreciation by reaching out to the younger ones.

Gifts and educative items were being given out lavishly to aid the education of the students.

Once boys and girls, who have now turned men and women of renown, graced the occasion.

Some of the honourable at the event were the Publisher of Megastarmagazine, Adeniyi Ifetayo who spoke to the students on Emotional Intelligence and life skills development. He also shared personal experiences, encouraging to read widely and learn about how to make money, manage money and multiply money. The 1999 sets also promised to donate 3 whiteboard to the school who modeled their lives when they were there as a student.

Three students were rewarded for punctuality while three teachers got a cash reward for their punctuality on 24th September. It was an opportunity for the students to ask various questions bothering them to realized their future. Questions like “how can I know my career path; how can I set up my goals in life; how do I go about it, when I want to study mass communication and my parents insist I study carpentry: how can I make money and have a best relationship” these and many more were answered by the old students association 1999 Alumni. It was an interactive conversation and impactful experience for the young students who are the leaders of tomorrow.
