UK based Mosco Imobhio, a former beauty queen who recently venture into movie Production. In this interview with the award winning celebrity journalist, Adeniyi ifetayo, Queen Mosco has she’s fondly called by her numerous admirer talks about the most Anticipated movie “SON OF MERCY” and her foundation.

■Can we meet you and how was your growing up like?

My name is Mosco Imobhio, I’m an International based Entrepreneur, Founder, Chairman Mosco Imobhio Foundation and St Moscomee  Ltd, Executive Producer of the most anticipated movie; Son of Mercy, I’m also a former beauty queen, Face of Edo, 2010, I hail from Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria.
A lover of Art, Nature, Culture and Entertainment, I studied International Studies and Diplomacy at the great University of Benin.
I had a regular and normal lifestyle growing up with my late parents and loving siblings in Benin City, being the last  child of eight children, I was very Inquisitive and knew what I wanted but the biggest issue was knowing how to actualize my thoughts.

■You were once a beauty queen, share your experiences with us.

It was a wonderful and life changing experience, created a lot of opportunities for me, made me understand that If I must succeed I must break some protocols, step out of my boundary and comfort zone, to explore other aspects of life.
Being  a beauty queen brought out some potentials in me and help me make decisions which over the years has impacted and still impacting my life positively, studying and living abroad exposed me to a different philosophy about life, over there it’s a different  ball game especially in the aspect of equality and diversity, also i have learnt that dreams and ideas can easily  be nurtured into reality when funds and a great team effort is available, with dedication and above  all God’s grace.

■Why did you venture into movie Production?

Hmmmmmm my love for entertainment, to satisfy my Inquisitiveness about what goes down in Production set, how these master piece are created but most especially my way of giving  back to society through creativity and innovation of implemented and useful ideas.
St.Moscomee LTD with affiliation to Mosco Imobhio Foundation  created and will continue to create opportunities for young and coming talents who are willing  to exhibit and showcase their crafts.
I believe that’s what life is about, giving back  to society in the little way I can, you never can tell how far that talent can go, contributing to society is topmost priority for me.

■Being the Producer of the Son of Mercy, was their any challenge being your first production?

My first challenge was getting the right team on board to work with, Son of Mercy movie isn’t my first attempt in movie Production,I tried several times and failed but I never gave up.
I must admit that working  with Mr Amen Imasuen Director of  Son of Mercy movie, all cast and crew was an amazing experience for me and wouldn’t ask for anything else.
My second and biggest challenge was FUNDING but thank God he saw us through, I will like to use this opportunity to encourage other investors, private individuals and the government to support and encourage the entertainment industry in Nigeria, Edo State in particular, the state is enriched with great talents looking for opportunities to express and exhibit their full potentials.

■Tell us more about the project and other things that you are up to

Sonofmercymovie  is a project that was dedicated to God from the start,if you know me,you know,I can’t operate without God and I believe the Grace of is on Son of Mercy movie, the love and support has been amazing
Take it from me Son of mercy movie is a must watch, people are anticipating and really looking forward to the Cinema release Nationwide on the 11th of December 2020.
Let it be known that St. Moscomee Ltd is here  to stay, especially in the production sector also to open to collaborate with othe investors and I urge everyone to anticipate for more blockbuster movies.
